3D modeling creates the castles players storm, the forests they explore, and the props they interact with – building entire virtual worlds from nothing. Learning to craft detailed environments and objects in 3D gives artists the power to construct immersive spaces and design functional pieces that make digital worlds feel real and alive.
Innovators will build 3D environments and props – sculpting landscapes, designing atmospheric spaces, and crafting objects that tell stories. Students learn modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation while discovering how to transform empty digital space into rich, explorable spaces. Their ProjectFUN creation becomes a fully realized environment or prop collection they designed and built, proving they can construct the places and things where stories happen.
Projects in this workshop may include: Designing and modeling a wizard’s house or creating an expansive landscape

- This workshop’s curriculum has been reviewed by a panel of college-level faculty from DigiPen Institute of Technology to ensure its relevance and appropriateness for students aged 14–18.
- As with every Open World workshop, a special visit by an industry guest has been arranged to help students see the connection between their workshop and real-world careers.
My kid loved it.
