Autonomous vehicles like self-driving cars are one of the modern world’s most intriguing technologies. Students inspired by self-driving cars could soon find themselves immersed in fields like engineering, artificial intelligence, industrial design, and more!
This workshop takes students through their first steps into this exciting technology. Instructors will explain the different ways vehicles can approach self-driving and how both software and hardware work together.
By the end of the week, each Explorer will participate in a hands-on project to create a simple, mechanically powered model vehicle that they can play with (and improve) at home.
